Welcome everyone to our wedding website! After two wonderful years together, Page and I are looking forward to having our dream wedding on November 4, 2006. For those of you who will not be able to make it to our wedding, we thought this would be a great way for us to share all of our experiences with you. For all of you who will be attending, all of the information you need to know about us and our wedding will be available for you here. And for those of you who will be coming in from out of town, we will provide hotel suggestions along with directions to the wedding and reception (this information will also be included with the invitations).

Happy Halloween! We only 9 days left until the big day! This weekend, the guys are heading to Carowinds and the gals are heading to the beach, it should be a lot of fun! Since we are so busy, this will probably be the last time the site will be updated until the wedding day. I have a surprise in store for the website (Shhhhhh). Whoa! It has been a while since we last updated the site! Only 61 days remaining until the wedding! The invitations are prepared and ready to send out. We have also prepared directions for each of the events. While the directions will arrive with the invitations, you can also view the directions from our website.

You may have noticed that we have changed the pictures a bit. These are just a few of our engagement pictures taken by our friend Drew Morris. We will be adding a few more of our engagement pictures to our Photographs section soon. Stay tuned!

Time is flying by as the wedding is almost a year away and it seems that lately we have not had the time to work on our website. Luckily, Page has shown me how to update the website myself so we can blog more frequently. However, it has been a while since the last update so here is what we have been up to these past two months:

• It was not hard to convince Page and I that the wedding ceremony and reception should be held in the inspiring gardens my grandparents have so beautifully created in their backyard. Their creative, unique, and elegant creations draw you into a sea of beauty you will have to see to believe ;).
• Page and I have decided on our wedding party - but not all of the members of the party have been asked yet, so stay tuned for the final list!
• The wedding bands have arrived and they are absolutely gorgeous!
• Our beautiful cake cutters have arrived from Things Remembered, thanks Mom!
• My mother and bridesmaid Jessica Olson found the eye-catching, fall-inspired bridesmaid bouquets on a shopping trip we took to Charlotte earlier this month. Way to shop ladies!
• October 11, 2005 my Maid of Honor, Valerie Musick, and I will be taking a trip to David’s Bridal in Columbia to look for bridesmaid dresses. Updates soon!
• Last but not least, we have decided on Honeymooning in Keystone Colorado. Further updates will be included under the Honeymoon link as soon as the details have been confirmed.

Although the big day is still over a year away, Page and I are both filled with joy and we are so happy to be planning for this spectacular occasion. We have accomplished a lot over the past couple of months, but we still have a lot left to do. Do you have any advice for a couple preparing for the “plunge”? Wow, this weekend has been busy! On Saturday, my mom and I took a road trip to Columbia, SC on a mission to find the perfect wedding dress. May I say, the trip was a huge success!! Although, the details of the dress have only been discussed in private, I can say it looks like a dress made for a princess. With this hurdle cleared, Page and I went to the local mall on Sunday to order our wedding bands. We are expecting them to arrive a the end of August. So what's next for us? Well, we are trying to plan the honeymoon and if you have any ideas or suggestions please contact us through the contact link and let us know!
